2008 is shaping up to be another milestone year for Porter Airlines. We began the New Year by
launching a new ad campaign promoting the start of New York service this spring. New York will
be a highly desirable destination from Toronto City Centre Airport (TCCA) for Canadian business
and leisure travellers. American travellers are also excited about flying directly to downtown
Toronto. New York represents the first stage of our growth to the U.S. that will include cities
like Boston, Chicago, Washington and Philadelphia in the next couple of years.
To make room for an increase in passengers and our new fleet, we’ve extended our terminal facilities
at TCCA. We’ve built three additional arrival and departure gates, added even more leather seating
and computer workstations, and will continue to provide complimentary wireless Internet access,
beverages and snacks.
Along with our New York launch, we’re preparing to roll out our rewards program. It will be
refreshingly simple, making it easy to earn and redeem complimentary travel. I urge you to keep an
eye out for updates.
As Porter begins a new year, I’d like to thank all of our passengers for making 2007 a remarkable success.
We look forward to continuing our commitment to premium service and launching new destinations and services
in 2008 and beyond.
