Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems to identify problems and adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures;
- Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems;
- Install or modify aircraft engines, mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems;
- Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul and cleaning, and reassemble;
- Perform and document scheduled and unscheduled maintenance;
- Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary school is required;
- A college diploma in aircraft maintenance from a Transport Canada approved educational facility;
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's (AME) license issued by Transport Canada or USA licensing authority for US bases;
- Ability to work on a permanent basis in country of employment (Canada/USA);
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and successfully complete the company screen process.

CATERING REPRESENTATIVE

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in inventory shipping and receiving;
- Stocking provisioning vehicles in accordance with appropriate standards;
- Restock equipment supplies and food products in the catering facility & warehouse;
- Cleans and sanitizes equipment;
- Liaise with Flight Crews to ensure all flight provisioning requirements are met;

Qualifications:

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Duties and Responsibilities:
- To provide high quality customer service;
- Check-in passengers for flights at the ticket counters by assigning seats; directing passengers to their gates, and checking documentation for flights while ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of passenger luggage;
- Perform pre-flight check-in procedures by assigning seats, making gate announcements, issuing boarding passes and boarding the flight;
- Monitor carry-on luggage and operate jetways and aircraft doors;
- Also assist passengers with special needs such as disabled and wheelchair passengers, and unaccompanied minors.
Qualifications:
- 19 years of age or older;
- High school diploma. Must be able to read, write, speak and easily understand the English language;
- Ability to work on a permanent basis in country of employment (Canada/USA);
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and successfully complete the company screen process;
- Good physical condition, able to lift, bend and stand for prolonged periods of time;

FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT ATTENDANT

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Care and maintenance of Porter exterior and interior property and facilities on the TCCA, including but not limited to: cleaning all exterior areas, raking leaves, sweeping and keeping clean all exit and entrance areas, shovelling snow, clean snow and ice from walkways, exterior and interior window washing, hanger floor cleaning and general hangar clean up;
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems;
- Perform other routine maintenance functions such as painting and drywall repair
- Lifting and moving heavy furniture, equipment and supplies;
- Ensure security and safety measures are in place and enforced;
- Demonstration continuous effort to improve operations, streamline processes, work cooperatively to provide seamless customer service;
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate clearly and follow direction;
- Secondary school diploma;
- Class “G” drivers license;
- Excellent physical condition, able to work outside in all seasons;
- Skill and ability to perform grounds maintenance, knowledge and ability to perform building repairs, ability to use hand and power tools plus equipment required for grounds maintenance activities;
- Knowledge and application of safety standards and precautions pertaining to the use of tools and equipment and the use of pesticides and herbicides;

FLIGHT ATTENDANTS

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and attentive service;
- Explain and demonstrate safety procedures;
- Monitor the general condition of the aircraft cabin;
- Attend to the safety of the passengers at all times.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English plus one other language. French is a preferred asset;
- Completion of secondary school. Travel school is a preferred asset;
- Flight attendants require a minimum of 2 years previous experience working with the public in a customer service role;
- Minimum of 19 years of age at time of employment;
- Canadian citizenship or landed immigrant status (in possession of a permanent resident card) with the ability to travel without restriction;
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and successfully complete company screen process;
- Neat and well groomed;
- Flight attendants may be called to work at short notice and therefore must be able to reach the airport within the 1 hour of callout;
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays;
- Ability to meet required medical standards which also includes substance abuse testing. Due to safety requirements and the demands of working within a pressurized environment, the position of flight attendants is more dependent on a good standard of physical and mental health than the average occupation.
