Functions:
This Account Executive role is responsible for selling, maintaining and retaining Porter market share within the Ontario Market, including the GTA. This position reports to the Manager, Sales Ontario.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sell, maintain and adjust sales strategies by segment in order to grow and maximize Porter Airlines load factors and profit
- With the support of the broader sales team, implement process improvement, training, communication, change management tools and support mechanisms necessary to effectively increase Porter load factors and profit with (but no limited to) corporate accounts, governments, and travel agencies
- Lead, implement and manage account planning process for all strategic and key accounts in the area
- Ensure pipeline reporting, strategies, policies and procedures are in compliance with strategic direction as determined by Manager, Sales Ontario
- Maintain face to face relationships with strategic and key account segments
- Maintain market competitive intelligence to continually refine offer and to provide the Manager, Sales with appropriate analysis/in-sights to mitigate overall risk and to identify additional value-add to the bottom-line
- Collaborate closely with the other functional areas including: executive, revenue management, marketing, call-center departments to enhance management decisions
- Participate in applicable industry events representing Porter
- Maintain strict adherence to Porter Code of Ethics and Business Conduct

Qualifications:
- University degree or a minimum of 8 years of industry relevant sales expertise
- Goals, objectives and measurement oriented
- Field-based self-starting attitude with strong communication skills
- Knowledge of airline, travel agency sales, account management and industry relations practices
- SABRE and other GDS and non-GDS distribution system knowledge
- Working knowledge of third-party and agency proprietary on-line booking tools

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Functions:
Reporting to Supervisor, Catering. The Catering Driver contributes to the efficient day-to-day operations of the airline.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Physically provision all flights with perishable and non perishable commissary product;
- Liaise with operating flight crew to ensure all flight provisioning requirements are met;
- Communicate effectively with the catering personnel;
- Assist Catering personnel with warehousing and Deliveries when required;
- Operate a Forklift when required;

CREW PLANNER

Functions:
The Crew Planner reports to the Supervisor, Crew Planning.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of monthly crewing schedules for Pilots and Flight Attendants. This activity mixes the commercial flying program with known crew vacation as well as required crew initial and recurrent training.
- Pairing building and time-sensitive record-keeping form an integral part of this position.
Qualifications:

Duties and Responsibilities:

- To provide assistance to passengers whose baggage is mishandled;

DISPATCHER

Functions:
All dispatchers on duty report to, and are responsible, to the Manager, System Operations Control. A dispatcher, qualified as per CAR section 705.110, is assigned the responsibility of exercising safe and efficient operational control over Porter Airlines Inc. flights in conjunction with the pilot-in-command.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Dispatcher is responsible for operational preflight preparation and flight watch within a prescribed geographic area or assigned flights in accordance with the following:
- Canadian and foreign government rules and regulations.
- Company flight operations manuals.
- Corporate policies and procedures.
- The production, reviewing, authorizing, issuing and revising, as required, of the operational flight plan (OFP) for all flights inclusive of training and test flight operations, in keeping with safety, regulatory, customer service and corporate fiscal requirements.
- Authorizing the release of an aircraft to operate in accordance with the terms and conditions established by the OFP.
- Analyzing operational conditions and identifying any opportunities that may benefit or restrict operational capabilities, inclusive of, but not limited to, weather conditions, ATC and aircraft performance.
- Exercising operational control on a co-authority basis with the pilot-in-command and for the joint responsibility of the safe and efficient planning and monitoring of a flight.
- Performing operational flight watch and determining when changes to the OFP are required or when meteorological conditions may affect the safety of flights within a prescribed area or on assigned routes, and for communicating those changes to the operating flight crew as required.
- Formulating and implementing the revised OFP when conditions warrant, and for communicating the revised plans to the pilot-in-command.
- Analyzing operational and meteorological conditions to evaluate and determine the most efficient and safe minimum fuel requirement in support of both safety and efficiency.
- When requested or deemed necessary to provide the pilot-in-command with a thorough and professional flight crew briefing, covering all significant information which may impact the operation of his flight.
- Obtaining, interpreting, and maintaining current flight and field condition reports to provide flight crews with the latest operational information.
- Obtaining up-to-date flight progress information of active flights (flight watch) and to ensure that the computerized flight tracking system is both current and accurate.
- Communicating to ATC all OFP requirements.
- Initiating emergency response procedures.
- Resolving with maintenance operational control (MOC) and the PIC, any conflicts which may be caused by any aircraft dispatch deviation from standard which may limit or impact it's operational capabilities, and to communicate those operational limitations and their impact to the duty manager and respective operating branches as required.
- Monitoring all flights with respect to departure from the place of origin, enroute, intermediate stops, arrival at destination, diversions, delays (including maintenance, mechanical, loading, and ATC) and any other condition that might affect the safety of the flight.
- Upon reporting for duty, flight dispatchers must familiarize themselves with current conditions with respect to flight operations that pertain to their duties.
- Meteorological conditions, current and forecast along the routes and at the airports (including alternates) where flight operations are scheduled.
- Airports and airport facilities for the scheduled destinations and alternates.
- During a duty period, Flight Dispatchers must keep abreast of changing conditions and notify flight crews via the most expeditious means of any conditions that may affect the safety of the flight.

DUTY OFFICER, SOCC

The SOCC Duty Officer reports to the Manager, SOCC
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervision of the System Operations Control Centre personnel while on duty;
- Oversees and manages the company's flight and ground operations while on duty;
- Liaison with Government and Airport Authorities pertaining to operational matters that occur while on shift;
- The overall management and assignment of flights to be operated;
- Managing the delaying and cancellation of flights;
- Manages the recovery of the flight schedule during IROPS + 48 hrs ahead;
- Analyzing weather and ATC conditions to formulate plans to maintain schedule integrity;

- Coordinates the staffing for the SOCC;

- During both normal and irregular operations, the Duty Manager will have final decision and overall operational authority for the airline activities, giving due consideration for his responsibility to maintain a safe operation while respecting the limitations of the Canadian Air Regulations.

- To ensure all facilities and equipment are kept clean, in good repair and in good working order
- Keep facilities and equipment is such condition so as to present a positive appearance and image to all passengers’, visitors, tenants and staff
- Act as main focal point for tenant issues involving required repairs and upkeep to facilities
- Tender, set up and manage service/contracts for all facilities with such contracts to include structural, cleaning, snow removal, mechanical, electrical, specialist repair and maintenance services for all facilities
- Continually review service contracts and rationalize service levels and costs to achieve best value for money and to ascertain that all work undertaken by third parties is satisfactory
- Ensure compliance with all statutory Health and Safety legislation
- Monitor and respond to critical alarms, emergency call outs and repairs
- Respond to issues with minimum disruption to the operation, company and tenants
- Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and parts needed to perform job functions
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience & knowledge with property, facilities, equipment management/ contract management
- Minimum 5 years experience in similar role
- Ability to take ownership of work, with a proactive attitude

Functions:
Reporting to the Manager, Ground Services. Acts as a point of contact for all ramp personnel and oversees the day to day safe operation of the YTZ ramp.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ground handling of airline and general aviation aircraft which includes,
- Marshalling;
- Baggage handling;
- De-icing;
- Lavatory servicing;
- Grooming;
- Preparation of commissary;
- Aircraft de-icing;
- Create and maintain a team environment on the ramp, where every member of the ramp staff acts and feels part of a cohesive unit;

- Coach and mentor all ramp team members to create an operationally safe environment;

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review of work from RAAS, the company's data entry system;
