Porter offers flights to Quebec City from Toronto and Halifax
TORONTO, June 27, 2008 – Porter Airlines begins summer service to Quebec City today with one daily Toronto-Quebec City flight connecting Quebec City passengers to Toronto City Centre Airport (TCCA), only minutes from downtown. Porter is also introducing the only scheduled non-stop flights between Halifax and Quebec City, operating daily.
On arrival in Quebec City this afternoon, Porter’s 70-seat Bombardier Q400 aircraft will be greeted by a ceremonial water cannon salute from airport fire trucks. Porter Airlines president and CEO Robert Deluce arrives on the first flight and will be welcomed by Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport president and chief operating officer Pascal Bélanger.
