Premium Pilsner available complimentary to passengers
TORONTO/August 13, 2009 – Porter Airlines and Steam Whistle Brewing are toasting a new relationship that will see Steam Whistle’s Premium Pilsner served as part of Porter’s complimentary onboard menu. Beer will be served from 500 ml cans as an introductory promotion beginning this week.
Porter and Steam Whistle are both entrepreneurial and innovative businesses. At the heart of Porter’s philosophy is a desire to reintroduce convenience and service back to flying. This approach includes complimentary premium in-flight snack and beverage service.

Steam Whistle Pilsner is brewed at Toronto’s historic John St. Roundhouse, less than two kilometres from Porter’s Toronto City Centre Airport (TCCA) base.
