Donald J. Carty, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Porter Aviation Holdings Inc.
and its subsidiary Porter Airlines Inc., has had a long and distinguished career in aviation, and brings strategic
and airline operating expertise to the team.
Carty is Vice Chairman and CFO at Dell Inc., the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AMR Corp. (American Airlines) and President and CEO of CP Air (predecessor of Canadian Airlines). Previous roles at American Airlines included President of AMR Airline Group, Executive VP – Finance and Planning and Senior Vice President and Controller.
Carty also serves on the corporate boards of Virgin America, CHC Helicopter, Sears Holdings, Barrick Gold, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
