How do I sign up?
You can enroll in the VIPorter program at www.flyporter.com or through the Porter Call Centre at (888) 619-8622.
Will I get a membership card?
A membership card will be sent in the mail after points are first earned on a VIPorter account.
Am I already registered into the program if I have flown Porter?
All customers who are registered with Porter, including those registered since the airline first began taking reservations, are members of the VIPorter program. Your customer number is now your VIPorter number.
How do I accumulate points?
Passengers receive VIPorter Points based on each one-way flight they fly. The number of points awarded per flight varies based on class of service (Freedom, Flexible and Firm).

Flights flown as part of a group booking are eligible for 750 points. Please note
that flights flown with redeemed VIPorter points are not eligible for additional
points.
How many VIPorter Points do I need to earn a flight?
7500 VIPorter Points are required for a one-way flight. Redemption flights are subject to the terms and conditions of Porter’s Flexible Class, including complimentary seat selection and a $25 change/cancellation fee per segment.
How do I redeem VIPorter Points and book flights?
To redeem VIPorter Points and make a booking, please contact the Call Centre at (888) 619-8622. Currently, points may not be redeemed online.
Will I receive points for previous flights?
Registered passengers will begin accumulating VIPorter Points on flights flown beginning June 9, 2008. Passengers will not receive points for flights flown before this date.
Is there a cost to join?
No, there is no cost to join. Registered Porter passengers can accumulate points free of charge.
Do I have to pay fees and taxes on my flight?
VIPorter Points can be used to pay for the cost of the fare only. Passengers booking with points must pay applicable taxes and fees.
How do I check availability before booking?
Please contact the Call Centre at (888) 619-8622 to check for flight availability.
How do I earn bonus points?
From time to time, Porter will offer promotions and opportunities for passengers to earn bonus points. To stay up-to-date, members may opt to receive airline news and promotions during the registration process or by changing the opt-in setting in their profile.
Are there restrictions on available redemption seats?
Approximately 10% of Porter’s available seats are allocated for VIPorter redemption. Availability is not guaranteed on all Porter flights.
Can I make changes or cancel a redemption seat?
Redemption flights are subject to the terms and conditions of Porter’s Flexible Class, including a $25 change/cancellation fee per segment.
Can I top up my points with cash?
No. Passengers must earn 7500 VIPorter Points to redeem a one-way flight.
Do my points expire?
All points expire after 3 years from their earning date.
Is VIPorter affiliated with other rewards programs?
Currently, VIPorter Points can only be redeemed for flights on Porter Airlines.
Can I receive rewards other than flights?
Currently, VIPorter Points are redeemable for flights only.
Can I redeem points on other airlines?
Currently, VIPorter are redeemable for Porter Airlines flights only.
Can I use my points for someone other than myself?
Yes. Members may book and redeem flights for other passengers.
Can I transfer points to someone else’s account?
No. The VIPorter program does not support point transfers.
Can more than one person share the same account?
No, each member has a unique account and member number. Only one member may contribute to his or her VIPorter account.
Are there different levels of membership?
All VIPorter members have the same status and access the same accumulation and redemption structure.
Will I receive a statement?
VIPorter account information will be emailed quarterly, and is available on-line at any time.
How do I track my rewards?
VIPorter members may check point balance and account information online at www.flyporter.com. Members may also contact the Call Centre to make account inquiries.
How does VIPorter program work when my travel agent books? My company?
Only the flying passenger earns points. The travel agent or person making the booking does not qualify for point accumulation, but can provide the flying passenger’s VIPorter number at the time of booking so the passenger earns points.
