An outdoor oasis

Explore mountains of fun, with flights from Timmins to Mont-Tremblant.

Whether you’re visiting in the summer or the winter, you’ll always be warmly welcomed in Mont-Tremblant. Soak up the sun or hit the slopes to experience Mont-Tremblant’s endless outdoor adventures.

If you’re flying from Timmins to Mont-Tremblant during the winter, you’ll land in the midst of snow as far as the eye can ski. With the 875 metre Mont-Tremblant at the centre of the city, it’s all downhill from here. Nearly 100 downhill ski trails trace along the slopes of the mountain, ranging in difficulty level. This hill has something for everyone, with nearly 80 km of runs across its four faces.

Beyond the ski hills, Mont-Tremblant is a hotbed of winter activity. Dash through the snow while you tour the town on numerous snowshoe and cross-country trails that run throughout Mont-Tremblant. If you’re looking for a faster way to explore the area, put pedal to the powder on a snow mobile. But for a truly classic way to see the city, there’s snow better way to get around than by horse-drawn sleigh.

During the summer months, Mont-Tremblant boasts some of Canada’s foremost fairways. Whether you’re mastering the challenging Le Maitre, or driving through the devilishly difficult Le Diable, you’re sure to have a sub-par (in the good way) round. With even more excellent courses spread throughout the city, it’s always tee time in Mont-Tremblant.

Take a stroll through the Pedestrian Village for more exciting activities. Reach the height of adventure on climbing walls and ropes courses. For something more low-key, settle in at one of the cozy cafés that line these cobblestone streets. Before you leave for Timmins, stop in for a snack and enjoy the quiet side of Mont-Tremblant.

Pedestrian Village

The heart of Mont-Tremblant

The Pedestrian Village is a flurry of activity in every season. Whether you’re visiting from Timmins in the summer or winter, you’ll want to take a walk through the Pedestrian Village.

As you stroll across the Village’s snow-covered cobblestone streets in the winter, you can warm up along the way at one of the many wood-burning stoves scattered throughout the area. Once you’re warmed up, set off for one of the Village’s winter activities. Whether you lace up a pair of ice-skates to glide across the Pedestrian Village rink or sit back and slide down the snow tubing course, you’re sure to find cold-weather fun.

In the summer, a whole world of outdoor adventures opens up in Mont-Tremblant. Start at the activity centre to begin an unforgettable Mont-Tremblant experience. For a little golf, get on the green at Le Petit Geant mini-golf course. If you like heights, harness your climbing skills at the Village’s climbing wall. From the heights of the rope courses, to the waves of the waterpark, there are plenty of things to do in Mont-Tremblant in the summer.

Your best bet for indoor fun in every season is the Casino de Mont-Tremblant. Double down on your day in the Village, with a short gondola ride to this nearby gaming centre.

For a vista of the whole Pedestrian Village, take the Panoramic Gondola. As you soar over the scenery, you’ll be able to see the stunning slopes of the Laurentian Mountains and you may even spy your next stop on your trip from Timmins to Mont-Tremblant.

× Close Domaine Saint-Bernard

Domaine Saint-Bernard

A natural beauty

Set off for the wilderness of Domaine Saint-Bernard to experience Québec’s untamed natural beauty. If you’re looking for a wealth of outdoor activities to add to your trip from Timmins, this 1500-acre park is your starting point.

Bike or hike through the 29 km trail system that traces all over Domaine Saint-Bernard. Whatever path you pick, you’ll be surrounded by the thick woods that grow throughout the park. Of course, you can forgo going by bicycle or foot and soar over the terrain on Domaine Saint-Bernard’s zip-line course.

The Wheeler Fitness Trail runs for 2 km along the shores of Lac Raynaud. Climb through this challenging course before taking to the lake at the supervised swimming beach. To explore more of the lake, you can canoe and kayak across Lac Raynaud in one of their rental boats.

When snow falls on Domaine Saint-Bernard, the park becomes a winter wonderland. 80 km of cross-country trails criss-cross across the park. With snowshoeing and winter walking trails also in the park, there’s “snow end” to what you can do during the winter. Warm up after a day of wintery activity beside the fireplace in the rest area or in one of the park’s heated shelters.

Whatever time of year you visit from Timmins, make sure to keep your eyes on the skies in Domaine Saint-Bernard. An amazing variety of avian inhabitants live in the park; make birdwatching a breeze with a visit to the Jardin des Oiseaux. Attracting a variety of species, from Baltimore orioles to blue jays, the Jardin is always aflutter with birds.

Keep watching the skies in the Domaine’s observatory, the Pavilion Velan. The Pavilion’s two high quality telescopes are sure to provide a stellar night of stargazing. After a little astronomy, your trip from Timmins will have the full Domaine Saint-Bernard experience.
