About

It’s the quietest single-aisle aircraft in the world - by design. The beauty of that? A cabin so tranquil, your “me time” begins right away.

“Noise is energy. If you’re making a noise, you’re wasting energy. A quiet plane is an efficient plane.”
- Engineering and Technology Development, Embraer

Sustainability profile

The E195-E2 is certified to the strictest international noise standards, with a noise footprint that is up to 76% smaller than previous-generation narrow body aircraft.

Our initial order of 30 E2s will emit 165,000 fewer annual metric tons of CO2 than older-generation Airbus A319 narrow-bodies. That’s equivalent to 279,000 people swapping their cars for bicycles going to/from work.

Compared to the new Airbus 220-300s, 30 E2s emit 45,000 fewer metric tons of CO2 every year. You’d need 405 soccer fields filled with trees to offset that amount of carbon.

The E2 has the lowest fuel consumption per seat and per trip among 120-150 seat aircraft.

76%

Smaller noise footprint than previous-generation narrow body aircraft. It’s the quietest single-aisle jet flying today.

165,000

Fewer annual metric tons of CO2 emitted annually compared to older-generation Airbus A319 narrow-bodies.
