Robert J. Deluce is a member of Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame and is recognized as one of Canada’s most knowledgeable and respected airline owners and operators. He is part of a decades-long Canadian aviation legacy that began when his parents started White River Air Services Limited in 1951.
Robert’s involvement in the aviation industry includes White River Air Services, norOntair, Austin Airways, Air Creebec, Air Ontario, Air Manitoba, Air Alliance and Canada 3000 Airlines.
As Porter’s founding president and CEO, Robert is responsible for overseeing the airline’s strategy, finances, commercial objectives and operational performance. His leadership has been recognized through a number of awards, including the E&Y Ontario Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year, the Canadian Marketing Association Marketer of the Year, and the Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (Entrepreneur of the Year).
Robert is a Bachelor of Science graduate from McGill University. He has also been granted honourary doctorates from Laurentian University, McGill University and the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. In 2012, he was presented with the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his significant contribution and achievement to Canadians.
Jeffrey began his career at Lehman Brother’s Inc, focusing on the energy, technology and communications / media sectors. He later moved to EdgeStone Capital Partners where he eventually joined Porter Airlines on a secondment in 2006, helping to successfully launch the airline within one year of funding. During his nearly 10 years in private equity at EdgeStone, Jeffrey was involved in all facets of private equity, including sourcing and completing new investments, and working extensively with portfolio companies.
Jeffrey joined Porter full-time in 2012 as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and Procurement Officer, with oversight of long-term strategic and planning matters, and overall cost considerations. He transitioned into his current role of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2014.
Jeffrey holds an Honours Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and is a graduate of the Directors Education Program at the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Michael Deluce has a long history in aviation, both professionally and personally. He is a leader whose focus on innovation and service excellence has helped define the culture and brand at Porter Airlines.
Prior to joining Porter, Michael was in Global Trading at Scotia Capital. In 2002, Michael was instrumental in the strategic development of Porter’s business plan. Michael continues to have a central role in defining Porter’s strategy.
He has direct responsibility for all commercial aspects of the business, including sales, marketing, revenue management, network planning and technology functions.
Michael holds an MBA from University of Western Ontario’s Ivey School of Business.
Kevin Jackson is a senior leader in travel marketing. Kevin has held a variety of roles in marketing focusing on the use of technology and data to grow revenue, drive marketing efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
Kevin has significant experience in aviation, including 12 years at US Airways in Phoenix, where he was Managing Director, Consumer Marketing, before joining Porter Airlines in 2013.
His current role involves leading marketing and communications, e-commerce, customer loyalty, corporate and travel agency sales, and technology. Prior to this, Kevin served as Vice President of Marketing and Communications.
Kevin holds an MBA in Business from Arizona State University and a Bachelor Degree in Hotel Administration from Northern Arizona University.
Paul Moreira is a strategic leader with more than 25 years of aviation experience.
Paul began his career at Canadian Airlines in 1980. He joined Air Jamaica Express as President and CEO in 1995, leading its privatization and was instrumental in building the new airline. In 2001, Paul was appointed President and CEO of Caribbean Star based in Antigua, followed by COO at Caribbean Sun, based in Fort Lauderdale. Before joining Porter Airlines, Paul held the position of General Manager, Toronto, at WestJet.
Paul is responsible for Flight Operations, Airport Operations, Safety and Security across Porter’s network. Prior to this role, he served as Director of Airport Operations, before being named Vice President of Airport Operations in January 2013.
Paul holds a Labour Relations Certificate from Queen's University. He is fluent in Portuguese and French.
