If you can schedule around your baby's established routine, it might work better. For example:
Is your baby at their best late in the day or first thing in the morning?
Are you able to schedule your flight during their regular nap time?
Do you need extra space? If you book a flight during non-peak travel times (e.g. late mornings or Saturdays) there might be an empty seat next to you.
Food and drink
Formula, breast milk, juice and baby food (in small containers) are permitted in your carry-on baggage.
On-board refrigeration is not available. We recommend a small cooler to keep them at temperature.
Infants' and children's meals are not offered as part of Porter inflight service. A complimentary snack and beverage service is provided on all Porter flights; however, milk is not included in our inflight service.
Takeoff and landing can be uncomfortable for your infant’s ears. Help your baby to equalize the air pressure by giving him/her their pacifier or a bottle.
The baby bag
We understand there can be messes, so do you have an adequate supply of wipes?
Do you have a change of clothes to keep your infant clean and comfortable?
Are you packing a few extra diapers, just in case?
Did you change your baby before the flight? While our Dash 8-400 aircrafts are not equipped with diaper-changing tables, our E195-E2 jets are. Diaper-changing stations are also available in airport restrooms, near the departure and arrival gates.
Here’s a quick checklist of the things you should pack in your carry-on:
Baby wipes
Change of clothes
Extra diapers
Snacks
Bottles
Pacifiers
Extra toys
