Porter offers 6 fare types: Ultimate, Navigate, Freedom, Flexible, Standard and Basic. Depending on the type of fare you book, some of the options include complimentary changes and cancellations, advance seat selection and same-day changes at the airport based on the selected fare type. Basic is a low-cost fare designed for price-conscious travellers with definite travel plans. It allows you to enjoy the same great inflight experience at a lower cost, but comes with some restrictions:

All of our passengers are offered a high level of in-flight service. Everyone receives the same free snacks and beverages, including beer and wine. Meals, subject to availability based on the time of day and duration of the flight, are offered to passengers flying with a PorterReserve Navigate or Ultimate fare on the E195-E2 aircraft.
One-time use promo codes are not replaceable. If you lose or misplace it, a new one cannot be generated.
Flight prices are affected by many different factors (e.g. exchange rates, fuel prices, fluctuations in supplier costs, availability, or a subsequent promotion) and may increase or decrease several times before your flight's departure.
Unfortunately, we are not able to apply any price differential to your already-purchased ticket.
In booking your trip early, you had the benefit of choosing from the widest range of services and availability. You've also had the peace of mind knowing that you secured all of your arrangements, which potentially may not have been available today.

Yes, full payment is required in order to confirm a reservation.
This option is not yet available on flyporter.com, however, you can make a multi-segment or open jaw booking through our Call Centre at 1-888-619-8622.
We do not offer the option to book a round-trip reservation with a confirmed departing flight and leaving the return flight open.
You can, however, choose to make a confirmed one-way reservation and then purchase your return flight at a later date.
Porter does not offer a waitlist option to register your name to wait for a confirmed seat to become available on a flight that’s currently “full” and then purchase your booking.
However, if you already have a confirmed reservation on another Porter flight to the same destination and would like to move to an earlier same-day flight that is currently full, you can ask at the airport to be placed on a stand-by list. Should space become available, you will be able to move. A fee may apply subject to the terms and conditions of the fare that you purchased.
Booking engines are not able to select two different price ranges in the same booking, so if there is only one seat left in a lower price range and you are searching for more than one ticket, the booking engine will select the next price available for all passengers.
To get some seats at a lower cost, you may need to split up the reservation and book passengers separately.

On the Passenger's Details page where we ask for the First Name and Last Name of the person travelling, please add FNU (First Name Unknown) in the First Name field and your name into the Last Name field.
Don't worry that the first name on your boarding pass does not match your identification - Airport Security and Customs and Immigration teams are used to seeing this and when they look at your passport and your boarding pass it will be clear to them why this has been done.
Some of our flights may be overbooked. Since we're able to estimate the number of passengers who are likely to travel based on historical data, it's rare for seats not to become available at departure. However, if necessary, we ask for volunteers to travel on a later flight if it appears that we might not be able to accommodate everyone who is booked. If we have to ask for volunteers, we would offer suitable compensation to those who accept to travel later. Learn more
Porter does not offer bereavement fares.
You can book up to nine (9) passengers in a single online reservation.
With Porter Airlines, groups of 10 or more passengers travelling on the same flight can take advantage of our reduced fares and personalized service, whether you’re travelling for business or pleasure.

You cannot add an infant to a reservation before it has been born because the baby’s name and date of birth are required at the time of booking.

Porter Airlines offers Unaccompanied Minor service for children travelling alone – providing your child with the best of care and ensuring a safe, fun flight from departure to arrival. The following forms of payment are accepted online:
*Register your prepaid credit card or gift card to enable the card to work on flyporter.com. Information on how to register the card is usually listed on the back of the card or the packaging the card came in. Some prepaid card and gift card issuers allow you to register your card through their website. Note that some prepaid credit cards and gift cards may not be accepted.
Travel credits can be applied towards a new flight reservation booked on flyporter.com or through the Call Centre. They can be used towards airfare and ancillaries, as well as any associated fees, taxes and surcharges.

You can redeem your reservation credit for any transaction processed at flyporter.com, including flight reservations, advance seat selection or checked baggage. Choose the Reservation credit option on the Payment page, and enter the 6 digit alphanumeric confirmation number associated with the credit.
Redeeming your credit is easy. When making a booking on flyporter.com, select the Account credit option on the Payment page. Make sure you are logged into your VIPorter account, otherwise you will not see your credit.
Your gift card can be used to pay for your reservation or any associated ancillary fees either online or through the Porter Call Centre. On the Payment page, the gift card will need to be entered into the credit card field and will be processed as a prepaid Amex card.
Should you encounter any difficulties, call us at 1-888-619-8622 to book your flights.
You can redeem your Porter gift certificate for any transaction processed at flyporter.com, including flight reservations, seat selection or checked baggage. Choose the Gift Certificate option on the Payment page and follow the prompts. If you don’t spend the full amount of your gift certificate, you can spend the remainder on subsequent purchases - it does not have to be used all at once.
Unused tickets purchased through a travel agency must be rebooked through the same agency.
Yes, someone else can pay for your booking using one of the standard payment types available on flyporter.com.
For flights within Canada, your passport details are not required.
If you are travelling to, from or via the United States, you will need to provide Advance Passenger Information (API) before departure. This includes your passport details and the full address of your first night’s accommodation in the US. You can add this information to your reservation either through My Bookings or during online check-in.
Once you complete your flight reservation on flyporter.com, you will be able to view your confirmation number, booking status and other booking details on the booking confirmation page.
We will also send you the itinerary via email confirming your booking details. Please review your itinerary details to confirm they are accurate and contact us immediately should you need to make any corrections.
If your browser does not display a confirmation page and booking confirmation number, it is possible that the booking has been completed successfully but the confirmation page has failed to reach your browser. Please check your email inbox, including any spam/junk folders, to see if the itinerary email has arrived confirming your reservation details.

You can either attempt to make a reservation online again or contact us and we will investigate what happened and if needed, make a booking for you.
