Following the Crothers Woods Trail, make your way to the Evergreen Brick Works. This former brick factory now houses a farmers market, café, and art exhibitions, with a scenic pond and garden in the back. Many of the bricks made here went on to build some of Toronto’s major landmarks, including Casa Loma and the Ontario Legislature.

After kilning some time in the Brick Work’s kiln room, step onto the Moore Park Ravine to continue exploring Toronto’s urban wilderness. This ravine runs alongside Mud Creek, all the way from the Evergreen Brick Works to the historic Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

You won’t need to worry about getting your shoes muddy as you make your way on the gravel Beltline Trail, which runs adjacent to Mud Creek. Built on the site of the Toronto Belt Line Railway, this three-part linear park consists of the York Beltline Trail, Kay Gardner Beltline Park, and Ravine Beltline Trail (which runs through Moore Park). This former locomotive track is now a favourite among cyclists and runners in Toronto.

After you leave the TIFF Bell Lightbox, take the nearby Canada’s Walk of Fame to stroll alongside some of Canada’s biggest stars. Stretching along King Street and Simcoe Street, this path commemorates Canadians excelling in almost all fields, from social justice to sports.

From the base of Bathurst, you can take the 511 streetcar to Bathurst subway station or the 509 streetcar to Union subway station. You can take the subway, GO Transit, PATH or UP Express to and from Union Station. TTC fare for subways, buses, and streetcars is $3.25 CAD.

Hertz is conveniently located in-terminal at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport on the lower level.

Offsite parking is available at the Queens Quay West location in a bright, clean, eight-story parking facility with 1,100 parking spaces available to passengers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The facility is monitored by a security team, and is equipped with video surveillance to provide a safe environment for the guests. The daily rate is $15 when prebooked, and free shuttle runs to and from the airport.
