Flights from Mont-Tremblant to Toronto
Land in the heart of it all
Fly from Mont-Tremblant to Toronto and land in the heart of it all.
When you land downtown with Porter, you can start exploring the best things to do in Toronto as soon as you leave the airport. With major Toronto points of interest just minutes from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, you land in the middle of all the action.
Even with the ever-growing skyline of skyscrapers, Toronto manages to maintain its green spaces. From the lakeside escape of the Toronto Islands to the always-bustling High Park, Toronto has plenty of parkland to explore.
For more cultivated greenery, seek out the city’s gardens. The hundred-year-old Allan Gardens Conservatory is free and open to the public every day of the year. Further north in the city is the Toronto Botanical Gardens. Next door, Edwards Gardens combines history and horticulture on the site of an old Toronto estate.
Enjoy Toronto’s great indoors at the Gardiner Museum, which specializes in ceramic arts. At the neighbouring Royal Ontario Museum, a variety of collections, ranging from textiles to T. rexes, make this museum a popular Toronto destination. Two more provincial institutions, the Ontario Science Centre and the Art Gallery of Ontario, add to Toronto’s list of must-see museums.
After going in depth at Toronto’s educational institutions, head to the heights of the CN Tower. This iconic Toronto structure, along with the ACC and Rogers Centre, are just minutes from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, so you can squeeze in another activity before boarding your plane back to Mont-Tremblant.
Toronto Ravine System
Toronto’s wild side
A vast system of forests and ravines runs all throughout Toronto, creating the perfect conditions for urban exploration. Covering 17 per cent of Toronto’s total area, these green spaces provide ample room to stretch your legs after your flight from Mont-Tremblant lands.
Spanning 52 hectares of land surrounding the Don Valley River, Crothers Woods is covered with a variety of walking and cycling trails. Ranging from easy inclines to steep ascents, these trails have something for every level of endurance and ambition. For a real challenge, cycle on the Redway Road bike path, whose staggering slope resembles the Alps section of the Tour de France.
Following the Crothers Woods Trail, make your way to the Evergreen Brick Works. This former brick factory now houses a farmers market, café, and art exhibitions, with a scenic pond and garden in the back. Many of the bricks made here went on to build some of Toronto’s major landmarks, including Casa Loma and the Ontario Legislature.
After kilning some time in the Brick Work’s kiln room, step onto the Moore Park Ravine to continue exploring Toronto’s urban wilderness. This ravine runs alongside Mud Creek, all the way from the Evergreen Brick Works to the historic Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
You won’t need to worry about getting your shoes muddy as you make your way on the gravel Beltline Trail, which runs adjacent to Mud Creek. Built on the site of the Toronto Belt Line Railway, this three-part linear park consists of the York Beltline Trail, Kay Gardner Beltline Park, and Ravine Beltline Trail (which runs through Moore Park). This former locomotive track is now a favourite among cyclists and runners in Toronto.
Stay on the path to explore more of Toronto’s wild side, or step out of the woods to enjoy the city’s urban attractions. Wherever you go next, the Toronto Ravine System will start your trip from Mont-Tremblant off on the right foot.
