Domaine Saint-Bernard

A walk on the wild side

Fly from New York to Mont-Tremblant and take in the tranquillity of Domaine Saint-Bernard.

Starting in the late 1800s, the land was sold multiple times and used to house chalets and agriculture. In 1951,the Christian brothers acquired the Domaine and named it after Saint-Bernard, the patron saint of mountaineers and mountain dwellers.

Today, the expansive and verdant area is filled with forests, lakes, rivers, wetlands, fields and trails - perfect for family outings. During the winter months, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails are open for all to enjoy.

Amateur and seasoned hikers alike can enjoy over 29 km / 18 mi of hiking trails throughout the area as well as spectacular views of Rivière du Diable. Keep an eye out for lookout points and picturesque picnic spots along the way.

Domaine Saint-Bernard is considered an eco-tourist park and is home to a bounty of beautiful species. If you’re lucky, you may be able to spot the whitetail deer, moose, red fox or snowshoe hares that lurk in these areas.

Once the sun sets, make your way to the Valen Astronomy Pavilion. Equipped with telescopes, you’ll be able to get up close and personal with our stars and planets.


Parc National du Mont-Tremblant

A natural wonder

As soon as your flight from New York to Mont-Tremblant lands, adventure calls. Answer it with a visit to Québec’s largest park, Parc National du Mont-Tremblant.

At 1510 km, this provincial park boasts waterfalls, over 400 lakes and streams, and in true Canadian style, a predominantly maple forest.

With so many natural wonders, it’s no wonder this park is a summer hotspot for nature lovers and campers alike.

Have a slumber party under the stars and camp out at the Parc National du Mont-Tremblant, which also offers lodgings in cottages, yurts and Huttopia tents. Spend an action-packed afternoon hiking, swimming, rock climbing, boating or fishing.

Parc National du Mont-Tremblant also offers beginner-friendly activities. Go into the wild with guided canoe tours. Led by park wardens, these canoeing excursions also include snack stops and frequent dips in park’s many swimming spots. If you’re feeling adventurous go to it alone, and explore the off beaten path.

One of the park’s most unique discovery tours allows eco-tourists to kayak with loons. During this tour, visitors learn to maneuver a sea kayak and are guided to spots where they can watch these spectacular Canadian birds in their natural habitats.

Newark Liberty International Airport Parking

If you’re driving to Newark Liberty International Airport, you have a few parking options. For short-term parking, lots are located in the Terminal C garage and directly across from Terminals A and B. Rates range from $4 USD for half an hour to $39 USD for a 24-hour maximum. The daily lots in garage P4 have a $34 USD per day maximum rate, and the economy lot has a rate of $18 USD for the first 24 hours, plus an additional $6 USD for each 8-hour period after.
