Hike up, down and all around

The largest in Québec, this park is the natural habitat of a massive array of animals. With 45 mammal species, 206 bird species and 34 fish species, you won’t want to miss out on this opportunity to take a walk on the wild side.

Mont-Tremblant National Park also runs wild with six rivers and hundreds of lakes and streams. With over 82 km of hiking trails, you can easily explore the park’s natural wonders by foot.

Although there’s plenty to see on flat ground, some of the park’s most breathtaking views are best seen on the Via Ferrata trails.

This style of climbing involves crossing a rock face with built-in steps, handles and other features to assist with your vertical journey. Also known as vertical hiking or “iron roads.” Via Ferrata was first popularized in Europe and is growing in popularity all over Québec.

Via Ferrata offers three trails of varying difficulty and unique views of the mountains and, the gentle waters of la rivière du Diable. The trails were created to offer new perspectives for climbers of all levels while minimizing damage to the rock faces.

If heights aren’t your thing, there are plenty of ways to explore on wheels. With 8 circuits and 124 km of peaceful cycling trails, you’ll want to grab a bike and ride through the park’s lush forests.

In warmer weather, guided and self-guided canoeing and kayaking are excellent ways to explore the park’s many lakes. The park is also home to two main beaches, La Cremaillere Beach in La Diable sector and Lac-Provost Beach in La Pimbina.
